We’re taking a holistic approach to supporting early childhood education and giving our youngest neighbors a great start.
GRANTS
Through the PNC Foundation, we provide financial support to nonprofit organizations that are committed to advancing high-quality early childhood education. PNC Grow Up Great grants must:
Support early education initiatives
Serve a majority of children from low- to moderate-income families
Include one or more of the following:
- Direct services or programs for children in their classroom or community
- Professional/workforce development for educators
- Family and/or community engagement in early learning
AWARENESS
Through mobile educational tours, social media, paid awareness campaigns and more, we work to highlight the importance of a child’s first 5 years while providing free tools and resources for parents, caregivers and educators to help young children learn, discover and grow.
VOLUNTEERISM
Throughout the year, our employees are invited and encouraged to take an active role in supporting early childhood education through PNC Grow Up Great. Each April, we double down on those efforts by facilitating supply drives, school visits and volunteer events during Great Month.

ADVOCACY
It takes more than one voice to help ensure that every child has access to high-quality early education opportunities. That’s why we’re working to elevate state and local discussions, supporting programs that allow pre-K teachers to continue their education, and amplifying the need for resources in underserved communities.
